Deepavali

Yesterday was Deepavali, the Indian new year. It is also the Singapore public holiday, so i had one day free.

I went to Vivo City in the afternoon and transfer some money from DBS account to Standard account. After that, still a lot of time lest. At first, i planned to go to little India to see the celebration of the festival. However, it rained outside, so i canceled my schedule and started to wandered around Vivo City. I found a big bookstore PageOne at the second floor, many magazines and books. Wanted to buy a National Geographic, but after considering, i knew i wouldn't read it later, so just looked around. i also went to the Game bar which is like the Tom Bear' World in China. But here, people pay by flush the card, not insert coins. Much more expensive than that in China, each game need to pay 1.5 dollars to play once. I didn't want to play, just looked around. At the IT store, there was a TV playing Ultraman. I think it was the last episode. Never seen it before. Later i discovered a special fan without blades! only a hole in the middle which can generate strong wind. How does it do so? Really fantastic. I can even put my hand inside the hole, safety, because no blade. After Vivo, i went to Shengsiong to buy food, still in promotion.

Today i got up very late, nearly 1100am. Then afternoon was guild raid the TOC. We tried the final BOSS, but failed at 8%. At night, had McDonald with HL, met a lot of KRidgens. Then when back to KR, the whole group of people went into my room to see WoW. Later i went to E block because YBH told me they were cooking there. Saw ZZ, YHD, YBH and WHB there. Today was spaghetti, not bad but i was full already. Only had a taste. then wandering at HD's room for a while and back to my room.

I think i really have to study NOW because the exams are drawing near! Come on! Good luck to me!

A gray Thursday

wtf today i am really going mad.

Last night at about 12am in the midnight, i wanted to have a final check about our group's wiki. When i look through, i was quite annoyed! ZZ hadn't changed his poorly written part! Every sentence has many obvious grammar mistakes. Even a student from junior high school can figure out them, but ZZ didn't! He didn't even care about the assignment, just write down all the things without any check and gave it to me to let me check?!

wtf!Then i had to check paragraph by paragraph. Quite a lot of mistakes. For many paragraphs, i nearly changed the whole thing! Also add some new references. about 1am, ZZ went online. I asked him" are u dare to look through what you have written?" then ignore him and continued with my job. He apologized but no use.

Finally done the revision at nearly 3 am.

This morning got up at near 930, if i have no lesson, i would sleep late but i did have ACC tutorial. So i went there very tired. Met ZZ, then my mood turned worse. He told me he went to see the fantastic debating competition! i was busy modifying YOUR essay while you were having fun?! don't want to talk with him.

Lunch time, he wanted to pay for my meal to apologize but no need! At lunch, he still told me about the damn debating contest which nearly driving me mad! he said he got the ticket to the semi-final and would see it tmr. Only one ticket, even didn't care about me?! you know i won a ticket to Singapore Flyer and really tried to win another for you! And how you treat me?! You just say how excellent the debate was without thinking of my feeling?! What are you thinking?

Afternoon's lecture he tried to warm up but i was still a bit angry. He said"why did i go to see the contest yesterday.i wish i didn't" Does it make any sense? NO!

After lecture, i went back hall. Later he called and came to give me a box of durian. At this time, i was not so angry. Ate the durian together and didn't talk much.

Now i feel better. But still not satisfied with the ticket thing. Don't expect he can understand me because he is a man without caring about the details.

By the way, today is the last lecture of GEK1505 and ACC1002X. My attitude towards Prof. Zhang Weining totally changed and think he is a good lecturer now.

Really tired. Need a rest. ZZ will go to the contest tmr, don't mention it to me any more!

My Wednesday

I like Wednesdays- No lesson! Got up at 10 in the morning, after bathing, did the ACC online assignment 5. It took me not short time,. I finished it after 12pm. Then went to BIZ canteen to had lunch. Saw some people from NUSSU distributing goodies bags outside BIZ canteen. So i went up to fill in a survey and got a bag. Omg, quite heavy. Quite a lot of thing inside-notebook, coffee, water, soy milk, chips...Really nice.

Then i went to central library to study ACC which is really tricky recently. I took the whole afternoon studying statement of cash flows and did the homework which i always got wrong, not balanced. Anyway at last i got it. Already 530 after reaching KR.

Dinner time I ate with Mingxiang who was busy reviewing his Japanese word test while eating. Saw the reflection of traditional Chinese study guys~ Then Samuel came, also chatted with him. I really don't have too many chances to talk with Singaporeans, so i really treasured this chance. Talked with him about night cycling(he also didn't go), movie tonight( he won't go coz he saw it before) winter, module(he studies chemical engineering) and holiday. He said he was "super hungry" today so he came to dinner so early. Hope can have such chance to talk to him later.

Tonight there was a moving watching at hall - How to train your dragon. At first i didn't want to go and decided to do my study. However, in my hot, wet room, the productivity was really low. Then i searched Youtube and saw some related video about this movie and found it interesting. So finally i decided to watch. I proceed to MPSH, really cool with the air con. Not so many people. The movie is really nice, regret for not coming at the beginning. But at least i only missed half.

When i came back to my hot dorm, don't have the mood to study. Saw some news about the dispute between 360 and QQ, then download new version of Thunder 7 which is totally different from the previous versions. Downloaded "How to train your dragon". During downing, watched "Alvin and the chipmunks" which was also interesting.

Tomorrow will be a busy day- actually every Thursday is busy. But Friday is a public holiday, holiday again~ really have to concentrate on the revision.

Last tutorial of IS1103

Today is the last examable lecture of CS1010 and last tutorial of IS1103. The first year life is going to be end. To memorise the wonderful(more or less, also with some pity) life, i took several photos of my IS1103 tutor who is also a Chinese SM3 student came here in 2001, now a PhD in Information Systems. It is really nice to be taught by a tutor form the same country and the same program, so i like my tutor very much. ZZ suggested to take a photo with her but i saw she was busy with her work, so rejected. A bit regret but i think i will meet her in the following years' classes. The Indian buddy did ignite presentation today. Of course some of us were shocked due to his fast English, i hope i can adapt to Indian English soon or it will be really embarrassed to communicate with an Indian. I kept smiling during his presentation and so did some others including TY =D. The tutorial ended a little later than 1pm since there were many things to cover. Really enjoy the tutorial though i am really concerned about this exam. Still don't know how to answer the question correctly. Then go with the intuition la. In addition, i hope Janice can teach me Java again the next semester.

In the evening was the GEK1505 tutorial, really like the lecturer-Leong Y.K.. ZZ didn't feel well(in mental) tonight, don't know what bothering him. Hope you can be well soon.

I sent the URL of my IS1103 project to all the group members and waited for suggestions but no response. Then hope i can submit it by tomorrow night.

No class tomorrow. Love Wednesdays! I can rest a bit. But i hope i won't play WoW to much, it seems if i have nothing to do or something tricky to do, i will turn to play it. It's hard for me to control! LoL! i should control myself, try my best to! I have to do my ACC online assessment which is really tricky recently. Maybe i can go to BIZ library tmr.

I had Indonesian roasted chicken for dinner instead of KR's dinner because i was really hungry after the tutorial, maybe due to the blood donation? Met Zhang Jing at bus stop and talked sth. about swimming with him.

Tomorrow there will be a movie show-how to train your dragon- at KR, don't know whether i will go. If Alber call me ,i will. Also hope i can have a chance to talk with Tyler about WoW.

ZZ will go to see the debate contest this week, i also want to but i don't have the ticket. Hope i can get one somewhere.

Hello, world!

This is the first time i write in my own blog. So excited =D

Don't know why i think of Blogger which i used to use during my bridging course. I just go to this http://www.blogger.com/ link and signed in. Firstly i wanted to sign in with my new address but finally changed my mind and logged in with my previously account. To my surprise, i found the bridging course's blogs. All my group members' blogs. i read some of them, really moved. miss the time in bridging course, we didn't have much work to do then. Study was like to play. Also miss the tutors, they are all very kind to us~ However, when we were at bridging course, we just wanted it to finish as quickly as possible and started our university life. Now i am an undergraduate student, but i really want to go back to the past bridging course time. A good memory!

Exams are coming soon. Hope i can manage them. don't know how many CAP i can get from the damn MKT1003, an interesting module (the lecturer is fantastic!) but really not fit for Chinese students to study, especially those with a weak English foundation. I have to work hard on it anyway.

IS1103 group project is at the end, i did a lot of work, they are not so responsible T_T. Never mind, they have written a lot and finally it's going to be over.

GEK1505 today was the last lecture which tell new knowledge. ZZ & HD kept talking during the lecture. Though the lecturer didn't show anything, but i think he may be sad and bothered. if i were him, i absolutely would. When he was teaching in front, others talking happily, really not respect to the lecturer. And hope more people can attend his lecture the next semester to more or less show some respect to him. At least i really think he is a good lecturer, really good.

Look forward to the second of December when i will go back home which I've left for 1 year. Parents and friends, Wait for me, i will be back soon!

omg! 1 am already, i should go to bed now. tmr have early modules.
